ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CAREER SERVICES
The Associate Director, Career Services is responsible for assisting in managing and training staff, monitoring the HireDeVry
system, conducting career advising sessions (usually for Graduates and Alumni) and assisting with developing employment
statistics reports.  This position also ensures a steady flow of career opportunities for graduates by developing relationships with
businesses and networking within the community and career service peers.
Responsibilities:
*Assists in monitoring and coordinating the campus on-line and HireDeVry systems, ensures accurate reporting and auditing of
all activity in the system and reviews/monitors all Advisors/Specialists reporting into the system.
  * Develops long-term relationships with businesses to develop career opportunities and develops and implements strategies
to maximize graduate employment to meet/exceed goals. Engages Advisors with Employer Relations and delegates new
employer contacts as appropriate.
  * Develops and maintains inter-department relationships with OBT, DEM, Community Outreach Managers, Faculty and Staff to
ensure synergy with all departments as well as leverage Employer Contacts and job lead potentials.
  * Assists graduate school admissions personnel on closing potential Masters Degree students.
  * Designs, coordinates, implements and participates in student/alumni career services events, classroom visits, career fairs,
graduation and related activities.
  * Conducts individual and group career advising sessions to both the undergraduate and graduate school populations using
the self-directed approach for the graduate school population.
  * Interviews Career Services applicants and makes hiring recommendations to the Career Services Manager, directly
supervises Career Services staff, provides professional development opportunities provides feedback and conducts
performance reviews as assigned.
  * Ensures audit compliance with University and governmental policies and regulations.
  * Assists with training staff on career search/transition techniques, job development and employer relations, HireDeVry
documentation and Career Services policies and procedures.
  * Works with Academics and coordinates the materials for the Career Development undergraduate class, which may include
teaching the class, developing syllabi, determining course objectives and preparing materials for the course.
  * Assists with designing and presenting any special reports/projects for accreditation and state approval process.
  * Manages the employment statistics process, which includes collecting, verifying and reporting on employment statistics for
the metro.
  * Participates in Advisory Boards, inter-campus relations and outreach committees/activities, external job fairs and Chamber of
Commerce events; takes proactive approach to generate leads and promote DeVry.

STUDENT SUCCESS COACH
The Student Success Coach I is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and is accountable for attaining
performance goals associated with new, continuing and resuming students while upholding academic integrity. In addition, this
position is responsible for executing all elements of a proactive student outreach strategy including; face to face meetings, phone
conversations, e-mails, and text messages.
Responsibilities:
*    Implements prescribed communication plan with assigned student caseload including meetings, phone calls, e-mails, and
text messages.
  * Facilitates the successful transition of new students from the Department of Enrollment Management into their first courses
including participation in new student orientation.
  * Defines and establishes a degree completion plan for each student. Assists student with course registration process.  
Participates in course and/or university withdrawal process.
  * Provides proactive advisement and coaching for continuing students.
  * Responds rapidly and accurately to student inquiries. Meets established service level agreements.
  * Contacts inactive students and assists them in resuming their studies.
  * Documents student interactions in appropriate University systems.
  * Serves as liaison to other University departments.
  * Monitors student attendance and academic progress and intervenes appropriately (student, deans, faculty, etc.).
  * May assist Student Success Coach II with special projects or assignments.

Under the direction of the Assistant Center Dean, Center Dean or Campus Director, the Operations Support Coordinator
performs routine and recurring student, faculty, and operational services required in the operations of a DeVry University
Campus/Center.  This position may train and serve as a lead person to the part-time staff, including student workers.
Responsibilities:
  *Supports the new student recruitment and registration process at the DVUC.
  * Supports the continuing student and academic area at the DVUC.
  * Greets and directs prospective and/or current students or visitors.
  * Answers incoming calls, provides information to each caller, refers calls to appropriate person, and takes messages.
  * Responds to student questions and/or requests; fields student complaints and resolves, if able, and/or escalates concerns,
as necessary.
  * Assists students with initial financial aid processing.
  * Supports the Center Dean or Campus Director in the operations of the location.
  * Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

CAREER ADVISOR
The Career Advisor is designed as a hybrid position that provides services both to students and employers.  The Career Advisor
advises students regarding career issues and strategies, job search methods, resume preparation, internships and related
matters. This position will ensure accurate reporting in HireDevry and partner with local businesses and companies to increase
the amount of job leads for DeVry students and alumni.  The Career Advisor works with the Career Services staff to ensure the
department has an adequate amount of job leads. This position requires minimal evaluation, originality and ingenuity; refers
complex issues or problems to supervisor.
Responsibilities:
  *Conducts individual and group career advising sessions with both the undergraduate and graduate school populations and
alumni.
  * Advises students on career development, job seeking skills and industry trends in order to effectively prepare them to gain
employment upon graduation.
  * Assists graduates in securing educationally related employment within 26 weeks of graduation through bi-weekly contact of
students, resume assistance and critiquing and conducting mock interviews.
  * Provides ongoing feedback to students with respect to individual job search skills.
  * Assists students in identifying areas requiring further training or knowledge and works with them in creating personal and
professional development programs, including co-op and internship opportunities.
  * Ensures accurate data entry and reporting of all activity into HireDevry, including observation notes, career
advancements/employments and job development activity, etc.
  * Performs specific job development activities for entry level or alumni job leads and enters employers and job leads into
HireDevry.
  * Develops long term working relationships with businesses and industries and responds to job opening requests by sending
appropriate resumes to employers.
  * Participates in student/alumni activities, career fairs, graduation, Advisory Boards, Program Reviews, Senior Project
Presentations, inter-campus relations, outreach and other related activities.
  * Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

STUDENT FINANCE CONSULTANT
This position manages a portfolio of students (either undergraduate or graduate or a combination thereof) to ensure that all
students have the appropriate guidance to make informed tuition investment and financial aid decisions. Works closely with
applicants and students to assess financial need, complete the financial aid process, and secure education funding. Through
regular proactive outreach to an assigned student portfolio, initiates tuition investment and gap counseling discussions and
advises students on strategies to finance their education. Serves as the student's single point of contact for all financial aid
concerns and works to resolve issues in a timely manner. Works closely with Admissions, Student Finance colleagues and other
departments to research and resolve any student financing issues.
Responsibilities:
  *Assists applicants/students to make an informed tuition investment decision by providing accurate, helpful student finance
advice.
  * Guides applicants/students through the financial aid application process. Performs initial contact, financial advising, and
direct outreach advising sessions.
  * Increases student satisfaction and retention by providing proactive tuition investment and student finance support to an
assigned portfolio of students.
  * Serves as the single point of contact for all Student Finance issues (e.g., financial aid, payment plans, billing issues, etc.).
Manages escalated concerns and resolves issues in a timely manner. Provides superior customer service to students by
accepting ownership of all student finance issues and questions.
  * The Student Finance Consultant (and his/her corresponding student portfolio) is measured by, and held accountable to, five
key metrics: Start Rate, Persistence/Retention, Accounts Receivable, Revenue per Student, and Customer Service/Satisfaction.
  * Identifies opportunities and solutions that improve current processes and actively participates in the roll-out of new processes.
  * Shares best practices with other Student Finance Consultants and colleagues to continuously improve the DeVry student
finance experience.
  * Maintains a thorough understanding of all DeVry Student Finance programs, policies and procedures.
  * Ensures Student Finance advising and issue management complies with applicable federal and state laws.
  * Maintains a thorough understanding of federal and state financial aid guidelines and regulations.
  * Participates on Student Finance committees and special projects.
  * Completes other projects and duties as assigned.

As an Educational Recruiter you will recruit adult and high school prospective students, assess their educational needs and
explain the benefits and objectives of the programs offered by ITT Technical Institute. Recruiting students for our institute requires
a customer-focused attitude, an ability to meet challenges head-on and a passion for changing lives through education. This
position requires the flexibility to work evening and weekend hours.
Key Responsibilities
  * Conduct face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews and e-mail correspondence to prospective students to determine their

The Career Services Specialist provides career services to students, graduates and alumni by building relationships with local
corporate, non-profit and government employers as well as provides career counseling.
Key Responsibilities
  * Develops and implements marketing plans to achieve graduation employment goals.
  * Successfully completes ITT/ESI's skills training programs and maintains certification.
  * Builds effective relationships with local and regional corporations, non-profit and government organizations and community
partners to identify employment opportunities and to promote the school's qualified students, graduates and alumni.
  * Conducts professional presentations to employers regarding hiring relationships as dictated by company standards.
  * Assists students and graduates in securing employment in their field of training.
  * Provides career coaching, including seminars and workshops ion interviewing techniques and other job search skills training
to students and alumni.
  * Ensures the up-to-date maintenance of the Career Services database, documentation, reports and students records in
accordance with company policies, government regulations and accreditation standards.
  * Participates in public relation activities promoting ITT Technical Institute.

Required Skills
  * Bachelors degree in social science, discipline, human resources, business, marketing or a related area from an institution

  * Completes professional development and in-service activities in accordance with college standards.
  * Maintains expertise in subject area and recommends improvements in curriculum design.
  * Instructs students in laboratory safety procedures if applicable.
  * Performs duties in the Learning Resource Center as assigned.
  * When possible, participates in core course academic support programs, certification programs, and student professional
associations.
Required Skills
  * Minimum 3 years applicable experience in system administration, network architecture, GUI, NT, TCP/IP, LINUX, LAN/WAN, or
Novell and 15 semester hours in the subject matter area is required.
  * Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred. Degree must be from an institution accredited by an accrediting
agency recognized by the US Department of Education.
  * MCSE, MCP, CNE, CCNA, CCNP, and/or CNA is preferred.
  * Evening hours may be required.
  * Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and presentation skills required.
  * Ability to utilize different methods and mediums in delivering course material.
  * Experience in organizing and writing reports and presentations of a technical nature.
  * Proven educational or administrative experience in critical thinking, problem solving and judgment skills.
